no one should go without
We support FareShare because good food shouldn’t go to waste—and no one should go without it. As a business rooted in purpose and people, we believe in sharing what we have, supporting our communities, and making a tangible difference where it matters most. We believe in giving back because no one should go without.

inspiring the next generation
Ambassador of FareShare North East’s Youth Programme
FareShare North East is proud to welcome Beccy Haworth, passionate home cook and MasterChef UK 2019 quarter-finalist, as an ambassador for our Youth Programme.
Beccy’s journey into the food world is rooted in something we all connect with — the simple joy of cooking for people we love. From humble beginnings in her home kitchen to the pressure of the MasterChef studio, Beccy’s passion has always been about more than food. It’s about connection, community, and creativity.
“I believe that eating good honest food, slowly, with friends, nurtures the soul,” says Beccy. “Cooking has changed my life - not just as a skill, but as a way to give, to teach, and to bring people together.”
Through our Youth Programme, FareShare North East helps young people grow in confidence, learn practical skills, and understand the power of giving back. With Beccy's support, we aim to inspire the next generation to think differently about food - not just what’s on the plate, but where it comes from and who it can help.
Beccy is passionate about teaching simple, affordable cooking using whole foods and making the most of every ingredient - nothing wasted, everything valued. She brings a relaxed, creative energy that encourages young people to try, learn, and enjoy.
Her experience in commercial kitchens, food festivals, and non-profit projects makes her the perfect role model for young people who want to explore food as a tool for change.
"I want to show young people that cooking isn’t about fancy ingredients or perfect plates - it’s about heart. And it’s something we can all do to make a difference."
Together, with Beccy and the incredible team at FareShare North East, we’re building a movement: feeding communities, fighting food waste, and empowering young people to lead the way.
